Christina Applegate's Co-stars React To Baby News

Mom-to-be Christina Applegate has bigger worries than the looming midnight wakings and diaper duty – like how her dog will adjust to the new babe.

“I am worried about my dog. I think she is going to have problems,” Christina tells OK!. “She is attached to me and at the house, there is a never a moment that she isn’t next to me so I will have to be careful when the baby comes.”

Meanwhile, Christina’s friends and colleagues have already started to pass along their advice and best wishes.

Her Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore co-star Chris O’Donnell, who has five kids with his wife Caroline Fentress, passed along some hard-earned words of wisdom: “Get a good nanny and get them on a good sleeping program quickly!”

Dad-of-three Will Ferrell, who starred alongside Christina in Anchorman, expects that she’ll do just fine once the baby arrives.

“I think she’ll be an amazing mom,” Will tells In Touch. “She’s one of the kindest, sweetest people I’ve ever met, and she’s going to be awesome. Congratulations to her!”

Never ever leave the baby alone in the room with a dog, no matter how much you trust it. No dog, no matter how small, no matter how gentle, no matter how proven his temperament, no matter his perceived love of children, his intelligence, his experience, his playfulness or his affection for you, should ever be left alone in a room with a small child — for even a second. Just google it. Dogs as small as Pomeranians have killed unattended babies.

Oops! Thanks for noting that, klutzy_girl. :)

Tazina, so true. There was an awful story in the news here recently about a newborn that was attacked and killed by a dog as she slept in her infant carseat. Just horrible.
