Gwyneth Paltrow, Country Music Sensation?
| Aug 2, 2010 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON |

She's already a mom of two, actress and successful web entrepreneur, so is Gwyneth Paltrow adding country music singer to her resumé? Some people seem to think so, after a rave reception to "Country Strong," a country-flavored track from her next movie got leaked on the web. So, is the Iron Man star headed for Nashville?
No! What the hell? I was just singing songs for the movie.
Gwyneth, who is mom to Apple, 6, and Moses, 4, might still hear her song on the radio, though, if some country music bigwigs have anything to do with it. "When [Sony Music Nashville chair] Joe Galante heard it, he was like, 'No, I want to release this as the single.'" Gwyneth said in an interview.
"I was like, 'Excuse me please? What? What is going on?'"
Gwyneth was joined by country music veterans Vince Gill and Patty Griffin on the track, an honor not lost on the actress. "[Producer Byron Gallimore] f**ing got Vince Gill to sing on the track! It's crazy...And Patty Griffin...It's amazing," she gushed. "I'm so humbled."
