Laurence Fishburne has remained mum about his daughter Montana's upcoming foray into the porn movie biz, but we finally get to hear what he thinks. Well, sort of.
Still no direct quote from Laurence, but in a statement to E! News Montana says – surprise – her dad isn't too thrilled about her controversial new career move. "[He] is very upset. I heard that he's mad at me but I haven't spoken to him yet," Montana, 19, said. She also added that her father is "very hurt" over her decision to star in the XXX flick for Vivid Entertainment.
But Montana - who goes by the screen name "Chippy D" - is sure that she'll be able to get her famous dad to come around.
"I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him," she said. "I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive."

uh, how does she expect her dad to support her on her choice of career? No self-respecting parent would...she has resources to be able to pursue other things but If I were her dad, it would take me awhile to accept this. I'm sure he loves her dearly but come on now...
I agree, no parent dreams of their kid someday going into porn. It would be devastating.
I don't know. I'm not familiar with porn stars and their reasons for choosing this path. Some say it's for the easy big bucks, so i wonder what exactly drove Montana to do this. To have sex with different people? A fantasy? just because she likes it? God knows. This really throws me off.
Montana wants to be famous and instead of asking her dad for help, maybe taking some acting or singing classes or trying to score invitations to events where she can show up and get noticed.
She even explained it just like that, and said “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I’m hoping the same magic will work for me. I’m impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it.”
Kim K was with her BOYFRIEND in their own bedroom. This child had sex with a stranger she just met..just to be famous?? I think she knew what she was doing using Kim K's name...Montana wants to be a "celebrity". She knew she would be all over the entertainment news with her dad's name and Kim K. She went the trashy, EASY way to get attention.
Oh what a disappointment for Laurence!
Well, it's safer than sex with someone who might hide an STD from you. They test them.
umm u know how many porn start get std's. ALOT! some pay doctors to give false diagnosis and because these ppl have sex with soooo many ppl its hard to trace where they got it from
It seems like the 'fast' and 'easy' way to become a famous celebrity is the norm now. I look at all of these so-called celebrities, and have lots of questions...Do any of these people have any real talent? Exactly what do they do except take off their clothes and act like tramps? Can any of them sing, dance, write, or act? If so, what's wrong with working hard to achieve their goals like the rest of us have to do? Why do we pay so much attention to these losers? If they didn't have rich and famous parents, would we give them the time of day? If we saw our neighbor's kid doing the same thing, wouldn't most of us would consider them to be tramps and whores? How sad that we help to create these 'monsters'.
Just simply disappointing.
What's really sad is that Laurence is a fine actor. One of the best in hollywood in fact. The man is down right dignified and he has to put up with a daughter that drags his name through the dirt. This is probably why one should never raise a child in Hollywood.
