What did you crave when you were pregnant? Pickles? Ice cream? Fried jalapeños with queso? Okay, that last one was probably just me. Melissa Rycroft, who is expecting her first child with husband Tye Strickland, tells ET that she hasn’t had any unusual cravings, but she has had some food aversions.
I’m a southern girl, so the foods that I’ve loved – the fried chicken and pizza and ranch [dressing] with everything…the things that normally make my mouth water…right now [are] not appealing in the least!
Melissa says she almost feels “too good to be pregnant” and that her diet now consists of healthy fare like oatmeal and fruit.
And how is husband Tye feeling these days? The Bachelor Pad star describes him as being “beyond thrilled” about the pregnancy. “[He's] going to be the best dad in the world.,” she gushes. The one minor disagreement they’re having is about the gender of the baby. “If I could pick, I would love a little boy – and Tye would love a little girl.”
