A Los Angeles judge granted Sandra Bullock a three-year restraining order on Friday (August 6) against a man who has a history of stalking the actress, MSNBC.com is reporting. Thomas James Weldon once allegedly traveled cross-country to try to meet Bullock after being released from a mental hospital.
The order, which requires Weldon to stay away from Bullock and refrain from trying to contact her for the next three years, also covers her 7-month-old son Louis Bardo and the children of ex-husband Jesse James – Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15.
The Blind Side actress first obtained a restraining order against Weldon in 2003 but it expired last year because Weldon was being held in a Tennessee mental hospital.
According to Bullock’s attourney, upon his release earlier this year he traveled to Wyoming, allegedly in an attempt to meet the actress.
