Rebecca Romijn Still Has A "Few Pounds Of Baby Weight" To Lose

Rebecca Romijn, who welcomed twin girls with hubby Jerry O’Connell in December 2008, admits that losing the 60lbs she gained during her pregnancy hasn’t been an easy task.

“I’m still working on the last few pounds of baby weight,” she tells Us. “I really just try to work in a half hour of some sort of workout routine every day. I try to break a sweat every day. It doesn’t always happen that way, but that’s the goal.”

She also reveals that her family of four enjoys staying active together:

We play a lot of badminton, we go tandem bike riding, we try to keep it fun. We try to do things as a couple and now as a family.

The 37-year-old actress also jokes that her now 19-month-old girls, Charlie and Dolly, may have entered into their terrible twos a few months early.

“We took the girls on their first merry-go-round ride. One of them was really into it and the other wasn’t having it,” recalls the former Eastwick star. “We went for a surry ride with the fringe on top — it’s like a bicycle with the baby seats in the front. They were instructed to wear helmets but they kept trying to take them off. Then they discovered it was more fun to bash each other in the heads with their helmets!”

Rebecca, 37, and Jerry, 36, have been married since July 2007.

She looks great regardless. It is nice to see a celeb who didn’t go back toa size 2 a few months after giving birth. She seems much more “realistic” to me-losing baby weight (esp. when you are not 25) can be a long an arduous process and not something that breast feeding and yoga can immediately cure! Gotta love her and Jerry. Some of the most humerous and normal celebs out there!
