Married With Children alum and Samantha Who? star, Christina Applegate is expecting her first baby with her fiance, Martyn Lenoble.

The lovable actress underwent a double mastectomy to triumph over breast cancer, and although her pregnancy wasn't planned, she is "really, really excited."

In line with her comedic performances on-screen, Applegate offers up the funny question regarding pregnancy:

You’ve got this amazing creature in there and you get to see it grow on those ultrasounds. The only thing about pregnancy I don’t get: Why does the baby need your a** to get so fat?

Heroes star Ali Larter is expecting a boy with her husband Hayes MacArthur. The 34 year-old's first born is due this winter and we've seen her out and about frequenting yoga classes, and indulging her sweet tooth cravings with cake.

Larter is taking an opposite route than supermodel Gisele Bundchen (who was notoriously disciplined with her pregnancy diet). Regarding her own pregnancy nutrition plans Ali said,

I hear her interviews and it’s like — more power to her. But I just [think] a woman should eat what she wants and enjoy that time.

'You Oughta Know' by now that singer Alanis Morissette is expecting her first child with her husband Souleye. She was "very happy" to hear the somewhat unexpected news. Regarding being pregnant she shares,

I actually thought I wasn’t. I had just sort of said in passing [to my doctor] that I was a little late … And he said, 'Let's take a quick look.

We recently spotted the singer with a giant smile on her face, heading to the gym for a prenatal workout.

Lily Allen suffered a miscarriage in the public eye 2 1/2 years ago, but the 25 year-old singer maintained her strong desire to have a baby. She told Elle UK,

I don't think I'm that young to have a baby. My mother had me when she was 23. It's difficult as a woman who wants a family. Kids take up your whole life, particularly in the first two or three years. So it wouldn't be very responsible of me to commit to doing a world tour if I had a baby.

Very recently, news of her pregnancy (boyfriend Sam Cooper is the baby's father), made front page news on England's The Sun newspaper.

Smiley and sweet Bachelor alum Melissa Rycroft had has quite a busy life since thankfully getting dumped by Jason Mesnick. After winning many fans on Dancing with the Stars, Rycroft married her sweetheart Tye Strickland, and the newlyweds are now expecting their first child.

The couple wasn't expecting to be on the road to parenthood so quickly, but Melissa told Parade,

Just because something is a surprise does not mean that it's not good and once we got over the initial shocks, which were the 'Oh my gosh. Are we ready for this? Are we gonna be good parents? How are we gonna do this with both of our careers?' which I think are fears that every first time parents have regardless of if you were planning it or not planning it. But it quickly faded from those fears to just excitement and what a blessing that this was handed to us.
