Show business can be generational. Just look at some common-day examples like Gwyneth Paltrow (daughter of actress Blythe Danner & director/producer, Bruce Paltrow), Angelina Jolie (daughter of Midnight Cowboy actor, Jon Voight) and Lisa Marie Presley (daughter of Elvis & Priscilla Presley).

• Ella Bleu Travolta, 10. Daughter of John Travolta & Kelly Preston:

John Travolta has kept us entertained since the '70s in the huge hits Saturday Night Fever and Grease. And not to mention his triumphant career comeback in the '90s cult classic, Pulp Fiction. Prior to the tragic death of his son Jett, John appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and announced his daughter Ella's debut in the big screen comedy, Old Dogs.

Jett was young when he saw Look Who's Talking, but he didn't like it when I was kissing Kirstie Alley. But Ella took right to it right away. That's why last year she said, 'When am I going to do a movie with you?' Little did she know, dad had a trick up his sleeve. She's a natural performer," John said. "She's just like I was. I didn't push it at all, because I knew that worked. My mother didn't push me, either. We were just given our space to be whatever we wanted to be, and I decided that works better than any kind of pressure." John added, "Unless they're afraid they're going to be rejected and they want to protect them. And I can imagine parents would fear that, but you can be rejected in any profession."

• Zoë Kravitz, 21. Daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet:

The stunning 21-year-old daughter of rockstar Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet is following in her famous parents' footsteps. Zoë sings for the Philadelphia band Elevator Fight and has appeared in several films, including the drama Twelve, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

Seems mom and dad are already spreading their words of wisdom to their talented daughter:

[My parents] always told me, 'Don't get sucked in by the scene – none of it's real,'" Zoë said.

• Connor Cruise, 15. Son of Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman:

Top Gun star Tom Cruise thinks that show business is a great place for kids. Tom and ex-wife Nicole Kidman's son Connor entered the family business when he was 14-years-old in Will Smith's flick Seven Pounds. Perhaps one day Tom and Katie Holmes' 4-year-old daughter Suri will follow in her big brother's footsteps as well?!

• Rainey Qualley, 21. Daughter of Andie MacDowell:

Rainey Qualley, the daughter of St. Elmo's Fire star Andie MacDowell, plans to walk in her gorgeous mother's footsteps.

Casting agents have said, 'You remind me of someone. I can't put my finger on who,'" Rainey said. The stunning brunette is studying acting in New York City.

Rainey's father is Andie's ex-husband, fellow former model and rancher Paul Qualley, whom she met while both were posing for Gap ads.

• Jaden Smith, 12, & Willow Smith, 9. Children of Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith:

Both of Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's children - son Jaden and daughter Willow - are entering the biz.

Jaden costarred with his father in The Pursuit of Happyness and appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still. He recently lit up the big screen with his lead role in the remake of the Karate Kid.

Mama Jada said she always knew he'd enter the family biz:

I knew when I was carrying him. You know, it's Will and I... I just felt like two artists would create a little artist," she said. "When he was born he used to love dancing to Michael Jackson.... And then as he got older, he had some real skills."

Willow made her acting debut alongside her papa in I Am Legend and later lit up the big screen in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. But it's a future in the music industry that seems to be calling Will and Jada's gorgeous girl.

She loves music," Jada said, adding, "She's going to have an album coming out. She's 9 years old, I don't know where that voice came from. She sings like she's a grown woman, like she's been around.... Music is her thing."

• Dominik Garcia-Lorido, 27. Daughter of Andy Garcia:

Godfather star Andy Garcia seems to have talent running through his blood. His younger daughters - Daniella, 22, and Alessandra, 18 - both appeared with him in 2005 in The Lost City. This year, he costarred alongside his gorgeous 27-year-old daughter Dominik Garcia-Lorido.

So what does the 54-year-old actor think about his kids following in his showbiz footsteps?

I encourage them to pursue the dream, as long as it’s their dream,” Andy said.

• Natasha Bure, 12. Daughter of Candace Cameron Bure & Valeri Bure.

Full House star Candace Cameron Bure seems to have passed down her acting skills to her gorgeous daughter Natasha.

The Roberts family is oozing with talent! Emma Roberts' father is actor Eric Roberts and her auntie is none other than Eat, Pray, Love star Julia Roberts!

Having a Pretty Woman in the family isn't always fun to deal with:

It's easy for some people to just write me off as Julia Roberts' niece," Emma said.

But with the up-and-coming actress starring in eight films this year alone - one of them being Valentine's Day - there seems to be plenty of room for more than one pretty woman in the family.

• Rumer Willis, 22. Daughter of Bruce Willis & Demi Moore:

Big screen stars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are parents to three girls: Rumer, 22, Scout, 19, and Tallulah, 16. Bruce has talked about his eldest daughter Rumer who has acted in films such as Now and Then and Striptease and TV shows such as 90210 and Sorority Row.

Turns out Bruce not only supports Rumer's acting career, he also thinks she'll make her way through the limelight of Hollywood without a problem.

Rumer's not only got the [acting] bug, Rumer's successful -- and she's got a great head on her shoulders," Bruce said of his daughter with former wife Demi Moore. "[She] wasn't raised in Los Angeles, so she knows the difference between the illusion of Hollywood and what real life is."

• Ireland Baldwin, 14. Daughter of Alec Baldwin & Kim Basinger:

The 14-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger turned heads on the red carpet alongside her famous dad at the 2009 SAG Awards. Earlier this year, modeling pics of the stunning teen leaked on the internet. Could a modeling or acting career be in Ireland's future?

Uncle Daniel Baldwin said of his niece,

She certainly has the looks to go into the business. She's very, very bright. I think the world is her oyster."

• Alexa Ray Joel, 24. Daughter of Billy Joel & Christie Brinkley:

Alexa Ray Joel has followed in her famous father's footsteps and become a singer, songwriter and pianist. Her album All I Can Do, including her single Notice Me, is set to be released in September 2010. Released in May, the single was listed as a "Hit-Bound song" on the Sirius XM Hits 1 satellite radio channel in August 2010.

• Dakota Johnson, 20. Daughter of Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith:

Dakota Johnson, model turned actress, has oodles of show business advice to pull from: Mom is Melanie Griffith, dad is Don Johnson and step-dad is Antonio Banderas. "I get advice from four corners of the film industry," Dakota, who costarred opposite Justin Timberlake in The Social Network, said.

The 20-year-old up-and-comer said her mom supports her career choices,

My mom is pretty hands-off. We have completely separate careers. She is my friend, but she basically lets me do whatever I need to do."

• Chloe Lattanzi, 24. Daughter of Olivia Newton-John & Matt Lattanzi:

Chloe Lattanzi is walking in her famous mother's footsteps. Pretty big shoes to fill, if you ask me! World-famous singer and actress, Olivia Newton-John, supports her daughter's Hollywood career.

Chloe made her acting debut when she was 7 in a cameo on the Australian soap Paradise Beach in 1993. She moved on to bigger roles in the 1994 TV movie A Christmas Romance, Bette Midler's 2001 sitcom and in Showtime's production The Wilde Girls. Recently, she announced that she's back in the studio working on an album.

• Spencer Grammer, 26. Daughter of Kelsey Grammer:

About to have a new half-sibling, Spencer Grammer is the grown daughter of Frasier star Kelsey Grammer. The Greek star once played Lucy in the series As the World Turns.

• Eva Amurri, 25. Daughter of Susan Sarandon & Franco Amurri:

The stunning daughter of Susan Sarandon started her acting career costarring alongside her Academy Award-winning mama in shows such as Friends and The Banger Sisters. The 25-year-old actress has since guest-starred on the TV hit Californication and the upcoming thriller Isolation.

• Riley Keough, 21. The daughter of Lisa Marie Presley & Danny Keough, and the oldest grandchild of Elvis and Priscilla Presley.

Riley Keough, the gorgeous granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is flaunting those piercing Presley blue eyes on the big screen. The 21-year-old daughter of Lisa Marie Presley had a supporting role in The Runaways this year. Not to mention her lead roles in The Good Doctor and Jack & Diane.

• Lourdes Leon, 13. Daughter of Madonna and Carlos Leon:

The 13-year-old daughter of Madonna and personal trainer and actor Carlos Leon, Lourdes Leon, seems to be destined for the biz. She's already starred in one of mom's videos and has collaborated with her popstar mama on an exclusive clothing line, appropriately called Material Girl.

On Lourdes being in her video Celebration, mama Madonna said,

She hangs out with the dancers a lot. She's a dancer, herself. The video is about the celebration of music and dance. There's an improvisational moment when we're all in a circle and each dancer does their specialty or a special move that they do well. She wanted to do hers, so she did."

On if she thinks Lourdes will follow in her footsteps, mama said:

No. I don't think she wants to be a singer. I think she wants to be an actress." The Papa Don't Preach singer went on to say she supports whatever path Lourdes chooses: "I'm fine with it, as long as she finishes school, and takes it seriously. She also plays piano, and she's really into clothes and fashion and style. She can go in any direction. She's got a lot of diverse interests right now. We'll see. I'm not pushing anything. We'll see what she wants to do."
