Now well into her second trimester, mom-to-be Christina Applegate tells Parade that all is well.
“I’m good, knock on wood,” says Christina, who underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. “I have tests every three months. There’s always that moment of suspense before the results, but I try to take care of myself.”
Meanwhile, the expectant mom’s famous friends say they’re thrilled for her!
“It’s so great. She’s the best and no one that I know is more deserving after what she’s been through. She’s been through a lot and I’m so happy for her,” says her Going the Distance co-star Justin Long. “And Martyn, she’s got an awesome husband. He’s missing a tooth but he doesn’t care. He rules.”
Drew Barrymore adds that she’s already bought the perfect gift for her pal: “It’s the best. I sent her a very funny gift which I can’t tell you about! But I’m very happy for her.”
The baby on the way will be the first for Christina and her fiance Martyn LeNoble.
