Lance Armstrong: 'My Son Is Almost Old Enough To Think I'm Uncool'

Professional cyclist Lance Armstrong may be famous, but his children likely won't think that he is "cool" for much longer.

Armstrong recently headed to Jasper, Alberta to ride in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and spoke with the Edmonton Journal about his family. Of his oldest son, the seven-time Tour de France winner said, "My 10-year-old son Luke is now almost old enough to think I'm uncool."

Armstrong also revealed that when faced with testicular cancer in 1996, he had banked sperm previous to his chemotherapy and radiation treatments, as he was told that he would not be able to conceive children naturally.

His oldest three children, Isabelle, Grace, and Luke, with ex-wife Kristin Richard were born via his banked sperm, and it had been a surprise when his girlfriend Anna Hansen had become pregnant naturally with their son Max, who turned one in June.

A fellow biker at the ride commented on their meeting, "Once formalities were over, Lance Armstrong was just another dad wondering about how to bring up his kids."

Armstrong and Hansen are expecting their second child together, and fifth for the cyclist, in October.
