Such a sweet pair!
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker walked her 7 1/2-year-old son James Wilke to his first day of school in New York City on Wednesday (September 8).
The sweet mother-son duo walked hand in hand to class. They even took a tender moment to cuddle while waiting to cross the street.
SJP and her husband Matthew Broderick are also parents to 1-year-old twin girls, Loretta and Tabitha.

oh shut up about his pants, who cares? he is happy, healthy and loved. pants that might be to short by half an inch aren't that big of a deal, ever think James went through a growth spurt after she bought the pants? I think comments about his pants should be deleted, the negative ones. I'm really really SICK to death of reading about this person or that person thinking they are to short.
he probably just has them pulled up to far, my nephews do that and one of them always has pants that look to short but aren't.
Maybe James' pants are 3/4 length...just a thought. I love Sarah Jessica's outfit. She is absolutely glowing and beautiful in the first photos
Not sure why it hasn't occurred to more commenters that they purposefully choose for his pants to be that length... he's been wearing his pants that short for years now, and seeing as he's a growing boy, I'm sure he's gone through plenty of pairs- almost all at that length. That tells me they might LIKE them like that. You don't have to. But I'm not sure why we always have to talk about it.

September 8th is a late school start? More like early! I grew up in the NYC area and school *always* started after Labor Day, and some kids didn't start until mid-to-late September! I'm guessing you grew up in Texas or something.

Here in Florida Florida, they started back to school on August 23rd. Many schools start now in August and have been doing so for 20 years or so. There have been 2 football games played already in high school. Where have you been??
