Update: Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools have welcomed a son! The Celebrity Chef announced the exciting news on his Twitter:
it's a baby boy guys !!! im shock, were all very happy, mum was amazing and both are well and happy x4 kids!! What a great day!! Now I have to pretend to know about football!! All tips on boys [ac]cepted."
The proud papa also showed the below pictures of his newborn son.
Earlier today (September 15), we spotted the happy couple heading into the hospital. They are already parents to daughters Poppy, 8, Daisy, 7, and Petal, 1.

Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools were spotted heading into the Portland Hospital in London, England on Wednesday (September 15).
Jamie and Jools - who recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary - are expecting their fourth child this month.
The longtime couple are also parents to daughters Poppy, 8, Daisy, 7, and Petal, 1.

I love their daughters' names! Can't wait to hear what they name the new baby.

flower names have always been popular for girls. and with the older two part of their middle names are Jamie and Jools's sweet names for each-other so it's not so strange

The Oliver children have some ridiculous names. Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo, Petal Blossom Rainbow and Buddy. Celebrities give their children ridiculous names.pilot,moxie crimefighter peanut kai,seven,puma mars, tu,butterfly heavenly,heaven rain.ruby sweetheart sin halo olive peaches. Memphis.
dont forget the rest of their names poppy honey rosie and daisy boo pamela. I agree they are ridiculous names along with all the other celeb baby names you mentioned. Buddy is a nickname not a name.
Ohh How exciting!! My sister had the opposite; 3 boys then a girl, and was a surprise with each of them. So, I know how excited they must be. But really...Buddy? Being their first boy, you'd think they would pick something less boring. haha
I'm so happy they got their little boy! I know their little girls are so excited to see their new brother. I'm wishing them all the luck, as for having four kids, it's a beautiful but challenging number of kids. I'm thrilled for them and I can't wait to hear the name for this little guy!
Ella the baby name is buddy
yeah sure buddy is more commonly a nickname for Robert like actor Buddy Ebsen. congrats to the family and by the way celebs giving their kids weird names dates back to the 60's anyway so it's not exactally new. the funniest celeb kid middle name I can think of is twenty which was Olivia Dahl's middle name. granted in that case I believe it was in homage to her birthdate of April 20th 1955.

Sometimes I wonder if she googles stuff and researches before she makes a post or if she's just a freak and already knows the weird stuff she writes. Either way, it's bizarre...yet I look forward to seeing what incomprehensible nonsense that she has to say each time.
let's agree to disagree. and with the example I gave it steams from being a fan of her dad's litterary work and her mothers film work so back off. some seem to think it is. besides her mother passed away recently so that's part of why the family has been on my mind alot.
Buddy is not the baby's name. They're just using it for now until they decide what to call the baby.

Did no one read the part where it said "full name to come from mom soon"? Not being snarky, just saying that it's probably not the baby's name. Even if it is, I'd rather be Buddy than some of the other name's I've heard lol

Finally I'm very happy for the couple and daughters wish them all the best.
Here in the UK, Daisy & Poppy are very common girls names. I cant believe people think they are weird! Granted, I dont know of any Petals lol, but there are numerous Poppys and Daisys in my daughters school.
I think I'm in the minority but I love their kids' first names, i.e Petal and Poppy not "Rainbow" and "Honey"
My friends named their son Budd. I think it's great and very Australian.
Dweezil Zappa's real name is Ian Donald. Dweezil is just a nickname.
