Katie Couric seems to have done it all, but there’s one thing she’s still anxious to conquer. “My secret fantasy, sadly, is to be on Dancing With the Stars,” she tells UsMagazine.com.
But the CBS Evening News anchor, who has two daughters – Ellie, 19 and Carrie, 14, with late husband Jay Monahan – says other than DWTS she isn’t a big fan of reality shows. “My daughter watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she says.
“I really don’t understand the whole genre to be honest with you,” Katie admits. “You know, God love them if they’re willing to invite people into every aspect of their personal life.”
So, is she serious, should DWTS come calling? “I don’t know, those skimpy outfits!” she laughs. And then adds, “Seriously, it’d be like, ‘Paging Jenny Craig, stat!’”
Just what that show needs, someone to kill their ratings! She’s not exactly an A lister now is she!
