Seal says his children, Leni, 6, Henry, 5, Johan, 3 1/2 and Lou, 11 months, would rather listen to dance tunes from his wife Heidi Klum’s home country than his music.
The 47-year-old musician was on the UK television show Daybreak when he explained further.
My kids don’t think I’m cool, not at all. They don’t even speak to me on the phone. They prefer listening to what I call German Oompa Loompa music. If I am recording at home, like with this new album for example, and I am listening to it and working on it they always try to take it off. They put on something else.”
Seal also talked about the new television show he and Heidi are planning. Tentatively titled Love’s Divine, he insists it won’t be a reality show.
“I couldn’t think of anything worse than doing a reality show. Heidi and I renew our vows each year, and it’s basically just an excuse to have a big party,” he said.
“But it is a really beautiful occasion and so we came up with the idea of giving ordinary couples with extraordinary stories the chance to renew their vows or have the marriage of their dreams. It is less of a reality show and more about the couples.”
