Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer-Maguire took their two adorable kids - Ruby, 3 1/2, and Otis, 1 - out for brunch at the Brentwood Country Mart on Sunday (September 19).
Tobey took the time to shake hands and share some laughs with a nearby fan. Such a nice family!

hate to say it but they totally look like their mom, unfortunately. just..not..that cute.
Of course you didn't hate to say it. No one forced you to say anything. If you really felt at all bad about it, you wouldn't make such a rude comment. There's nothing wrong with having an opinion, but there's also no reason you need to make that opinion public.

you're right, I didn't hate to say it, I feel better having said the obvious instead of the cliched, 'oh what an adorable family'...now THAT is just as pointless an opinion to make public.

Yes, they are both equally pointless types of comments. But only yours is also obnoxious and rude. It's very sad that putting down other people makes you feel better about yourself.
One doesn't need to 'say' it to make one feel better about oneself - just looking at the picture is enough. Jennifer Meyer might be a lovely person (don´t know her personally), but she simply isn't very pretty. You might find that "rude", but it's still true.
