Bailee Madison and Katie Holmes posed for pictures together at Variety's 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon in Los Angeles last Thursday (September 30). The young actress stars with Holmes in the new film Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.
Bailee, 10, also got to know Suri Cruise quite well and says she loves having playdates with the 4-year-old.
“I am like a four year old at heart, totally,” She told OK!, “I love it. We design T-Shirts and paint and they are just so artsy and an artistic family. I love it… I go to the house sometimes and she is just so sweet and they are so kind and loving.”
Bailee also says she's a Katie fan.
“I am a Katie Holmes lover! I love her so much and every single time I look at her wardrobe I think, ‘I wish I could pull that off!’ She has such a vintage and unique style and I think that whenever she steps out on the carpet, she works it and she looks good in everything.”
As for possibly acting in a movie with Suri, the little girl exclaimed "that would be so much fun. I think whatever she puts her mind to, she can totally do it.”

What 10 year old talks like that?!
Yeah really.....wardrobe...artsy...vintage....unique....those are NOT words from a 10 year old. Now we'll hear all the comments about how people have 10 year olds and they talk just like that. I can just wait.....
So what are you trying to imply? that it was scripted by Katie and she didn't really say it ? I've seen other interviews with Bailee Madison and she really does sound like that. Child actors are often smart and articulate for their age. After all, they spend so much time surrounded by adults. Also, I don't think the words you mentioned are THAT advanced.
Yep, you get your wish ;) I don't have a 10 year old but I know a few, and they all speak similar to this - very extensive vocabularies.
As for Bailee, she has not only been reading scripts (written by adults), on set (with adults) and taking interviews (from adults), but it's likely that she either attends a very high level school, or has a personal tutor (or both). Whatever the situation, she is clearly a smart, precocious little girl and I would not be surprised if those were the exact words out of her mouth.
(That being said, I do tend to take anything written in OK! and similar magazines with a pinch of salt...they are masters of manipulation and editing. Just being argumentative for argument's sake here ;)
No, normal 10-year-olds don't talk like that. But child actors are not normal kids, an they do in fact talk like that.
you may check out some interviews with this little girl on youtube. she's extremly intelligent and that's exactly how she speaks. but whatever, you just wanna hate.

Yep, so smart, so talented, so precocious...she's only 10 and already mastered the art of being a total syncopathic ass kisser... I'd paint t-shirts with bratty sci too for a big career break. I believe she said all that stuff, I just dispute that any of it is true. We have all seen Katie on the red carpet and we all KNOW she rearely gets it right...
