Pop singer Christina Aguilera smiled and waved at the paparazzi as she toted her 2 1/2-year-old son Max out of a car in Santa Monica on Thursday (October 14). Later that same day, the mother-son duo were spotted enjoying a fun afternoon at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch in Beverly Hills.
The 29-year-old Beautiful singer looked to be in great spirits despite having filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman earlier today. In the papers, Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She also asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son, TMZ reports.
Earlier this week, reports stated that Christina and her husband of 5 years had split. The Beautiful singer confirmed the reports, stating, “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”
max is a carbon copy of Jordan with Christina coloring.
I remember a specific quote she made when she got married: “I am prepared to grow old with this man”.
It just goes to show that most Hollywood marriages do not last.
I’m putting Jen/Ben, Gwen/Gavin, Kendra/Hank, Gwyneth/Chris, and Kate B./Len Wiseman in the divorce pool.
Sadly that’s true… but nowadays divorce is common among regular families too, even without the spotlight pressure.
