Alanis Morissette Celebrates Her Baby Shower

Alanis Morissette Celebrates Her Baby Shower

Is mom-to-be Alanis Morissette seeing blue?

The songstress celebrated her baby shower with family and friends in Santa Monica, California yesterday and one party-goer was spotted toting a blue gift bag that read “Baby Boy!” (October 23)

In any case, Alanis looked beautiful as she arrived at the bash, showing off her bump in a black dress with lace overlay.

The baby on the way is the first for the You Oughtta Know singer and her husband Souleye (aka Mario Treadway).

Huh. I was thinking girl for her. But yay for a boy! I wonder what they’ll name him.

And that’s a pretty outfit for a baby shower.

Alanis looks fantastic she’s carrying pregnancy beautifully. bet her and Mario’s son will be a little cutie. she must be about 7 months if she’s just having her baby shower now as that’s when that’s traditionally celebrated if the expectant mother makes it that far and nothing happens like either a miscarriage or a preterm stillborn.

You’re seriously scary, Courtney. Why do you always bring up miscarriages or stillborns on every thread of a pregnant celeb? Do you WANT something like that to happen to them? Maybe you went through that yourself. There’s just no need to be so creepy and point that kind of stuff out every single time. We know that accidents happen, doesn’t mean we have to harp on that. Whatever happened to just saying congratulations and move on?
