Monica Bellucci & Baby Léonie Cover Italian Vanity Fair

Actress Monica Bellucci graces the current cover of Italian Vanity Fair with her 5-month-old daughter Léonie. It's the third time the 46-year-old has posed naked for the magazine. The first was in 2004 when she was pregnant with Deva, now 6, and the second time was in April of this year when she was semi-nude and pregnant with Léonie.

Bellucci, who is married to French actor Vincent Cassel, is promoting a new book of portraits taken of her from the past twenty years.

She says in the interview some of the photographs conceal inner sadness but she's now "in a state of grace, like a ripe pear. Being photographed is a way of getting to know yourself. And I'm dying to know who I am, for better or worse."

Bellucci adds, "I chose them myself. I didn't want modeling shots and publicity ones. I wanted to show the body's primordial expressiveness."

Proceeds are going towards two charities Bellucci supports. One is an association for the parents of child cancer victims and the other a French charity which helps women in trouble.
