Melanie Brown: "My Daugher & Her Pals Wanted To Be Spice Girls For Halloween"

Melanie Brown is "too boring" according to her daughter!

Formerly known as Scary Spice of the pop group Spice Girls, the mother of 2 girls -
Phoenix, 11, and Angel, 3 - was initially excited when her elder daughter revealed she and her friends intended to dress up as the British group for Halloween. However, the 11-year-old had a change of heart.

My daughter and her pals wanted to be Spice Girls for Halloween," Mel B said. "I was so excited about helping with the costumes. Then one day she came in and said she didn't want to be a Spice Girl now as it was too boring. I was like, 'Oh thanks.' "

Mel - who also helps raise husband Stephen Belafonte's 6-year-old daughter Giselle - has previously admitted she's unsure if her girls will follow in her footsteps.

"I don't know, I mean we'll see. My kids are young, I have a 3-year-old, a beautiful 6-year-old stepdaughter and my 11-year-old so, we'll see. It's a bit early to guess right now. They are more into sports. Living in Los Angeles it's very much an outdoor lifestyle so sports kind of work."
