Carrie Underwood: Kids Would "Complicate" Things Right Now

Don't expect a pregnancy announcement from newlyweds Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher any time soon!

"We just want to be together and keep it as simple as possible. And I think a baby would just make things so complicated right now," the American Idol alum says.

Carrie admits that she and her hockey player beau find it hard to spend much time together at all these days.

Following their Tahitian honeymoon this summer Mike had to go straight to Canada, she says in the new ABC special, In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. "So it was like ... 'See ya,' husband.'"

As for Carrie, she's been busy touring. She admits it's been a "strange" way to start their life together, adding, "I really don't feel like I've lived married life yet.... It's great. Whatever it is. Whatever this is."'
