Lily Allen has thanked fans for their support, despite still feeling ill. The Smile singer was six months pregnant when she lost her baby last weekend. She and boyfriend Sam Cooper had asked for privacy at a “deeply distressing time”.
However today she took the time to send a message on Twitter writing: ‘Thank you for all your kind messages.’
The Daily Mail reports she later added: ‘I’m still very sick but the messages are helping me to be stronger. Thank you x x’
Lily had been ill with a viral infection and was taken by ambulance to the hospital after experiencing stomach cramps last Saturday. Her illness forced her to cancel a performance at a charity event hosted by Elton John.

the worst possible thing that could happen to anyone, losing a child!! My thoughts are with her. So sad. I hope she finds happiness again and God blesses her with another child someday.
