Halle Berry: Being A Mom Keeps Me Grounded

The guest of honor at an event in Hollywood, California last night, actress Halle Berry looked stunning as she posed for pics on the red carpet.

Speaking to the press at AFI Fest's Conversation with Halle Berry, the Oscar-winner revealed that being a mom to her daughter Nahla helps to keep her grounded.

"Being a mom does that for me. It sort of puts things into perspective, and it's about real life, and life is about people, what we give, what we take, what we share."

With a new romance - she's been dating actor Olivier Martinez since her split from Gabriel Aubry earlier this year - and a successful career, Halle says that motherhood remains her priority.

"I do what I love to do," she says, "and being a mom has come really naturally. It's all about finding a way to juggle what I love and what comes naturally to me."
