Laura Dern & Ben Harper: Brentwood Brunch Reunion

Happy together? Laura Dern and Ben Harper took kids Ellery, 9, daughter Jaya, 5 1/2, out for brunch with friends in Brentwood, Calif. on Sunday (November 14.)

The couple look like they're remaining civil for their kids' sake, despite having announced their separation last month after five years of marriage.

Dern says she was "blindsided" by her husband's divorce filing in which Harper cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. He is reportedly petitioning a judge to deny Dern spousal support.

I'm crazy or does it seem like Ben Harper is with the little kid who is also with another woman.

I believe that is Ben's daughter Harris and his older son whose name I can't remember right now.

No you are not crazy, it looks like it was a reunion of Laura, Ben, and Ben's new lover (the kid with the Harper University Tshirt on). It must be creepy that Ben's new girlfriend has features strikingly similar to a younger and fitter Angelina Jolie. I think Ben is a creep. Laura had it coming to her for doing the same think to Ben's first wife, but I still can't help but to feel sorry for Laura now. The kids all look fine though, well except for the new boy that was thrown into the mix, he looks a little put off by Ben in one of the pix.

Those other kids have got to be Ben's son CJ and daughter Harris. Cute family!
