During the live Survivor: Nicaragua reunion show last night, host Jeff Probst checked in with former contestant Rob Mariano. ‘Boston Rob’ announced that he and wife Amber Brkich Mariano just welcomed their second child, Carina Rose.
Baby Carina was born December 10. Apparently the couple got to the hospital at 2:15 a.m. and by 2:30 a.m. the baby girl was born! Rob said Amber “just got it done.”
The couple met on Survivor: All Stars and went on to compete on The Amazing Race together. Their first daughter, Lucia Rose, was born July 4th, 2009.
Congrats to the Brkich-Mariano family!

That’s a lovely name! Especially if it’s pronounced Khor-in-a, my friend’s name is Corinna pronounced like that and people often call her Kar-ee-na, a name which I don’t like as much!

my sisters and i were all given the middle name of mary…it’s our mother’s as well…don’t think it’s weird at all…LOL!
Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy gave both daughters the middle name Grace. And Rob pronounced her name on the Survivor finale as Car-ee-na, which I still think sounds pretty!
