Jamie Oliver Says Wife Is Hideous Cook, Amazing Mother
| Dec 27, 2010 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON |

Looks like Jamie Oliver might be sleeping on the couch if he's not careful. In a recent interview the celebrity chef very candidly described the cooking skills of wife Jools, the mother to his four children. "I can't tell my Mrs what to do," Jamie said. "She's not interested if I see her chopping dodgily, probably because our relationship works is because she doesn't see me as any kind of expert at cooking or anything like that."
"I tell her it's great but to be honest it's fairly hideous."
The Food Revolution star did redeem himself, though, by calling Jools an "amazing mum." He also admitted that he would like to be more than just a "weekend dad."
And as for kids Poppy, 8, Daisy, 7, Petal, 1, and son Buddy, 3 months – Jamie says he hopes to have them working in the kitchen with him by the time they're ten.
"I'm going to make sure that if they want something in life they'll know they'll have to work for it," he says. "As soon as they're about ten, I'm going to get them working three hours on a Saturday and a Sunday, get them in the business, get them sort of realising you have to put a few hours of sweat in to get a couple of quid."
