Jennifer Grey Answers Her Daughter Stella’s Questions

Jennifer Grey Answers Her Daughter Stella's Questions

She wowed us all on Dancing with the Stars last year, but Jennifer Grey‘s biggest fan is her 9-year-old daughter Stella. The Dirty Dancing star is interviewed by her gorgeous girl in the February issue of Redbook magazine.

Stella: What’s one of your favorite things that we’ve done together?
Jennifer: “When you and I went camping this past summer, just the two of us. I loved when we stayed in a tent and roasted marshmallows and made s’mores and went horseback riding all around the creek.”

Stella: My favorite part of all was just being with you alone together. You can be an actress and a dancer and a great, funny, messy, nature-camping mom. What was the best thing about winning DWTS?
Jennifer: “I don’t think I ever once actually thought I could win. The best feeling about having won was knowing that I hadn’t quit even though it was incredibly hard. I learned that no one can tell me that I’m too old or it’s too late for me to do something.”

Stella: I was so proud of you. But I would be proud of you if you fell in mud. Even though we already share clothes, can we share more now that you’re really fit and small?
Jennifer: “Like I always say, you can borrow anything you want from my closet as long as you treat it well and put it back where it belongs.”

Stella: “My favorite outfit that you wear is that soft white shirt that buttons down the front and has lines on the side with white jeans and your white boots and you are a cool mom! You were a cool mom in Ferris Bueller too. You were young, blonde, and beautiful, but I think you will be beautiful even when you’re a hundred years old. No one compares to Jennifer Grey, and no one can put Jennifer in the corner!”
