Michael Douglas & Carys: Hand In Hand In NYC

Michael Douglas and his 7-year-old daughter Carys walked hand in hand in New York City on Wednesday (January 19). The pair were on their way to school.

The actor and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, just came from Los Angeles where they attended Sunday night's Golden Globes. When they appeared on the red carpet Ryan Seacrest asked Douglas how he was feeling. His reply was very positive.

"Great," he said. "Tumor's gone. This type of cancer doesn't usually come back. I have to check in every month but I'm so happy to be out... Being able to come to this thing cancer-free is pretty special."

What great news to start off the new year!
