Three-year-old Harlow got a ride in the cart yesterday as she and her dad Joel Madden stopped off to pick up a few groceries at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills, California (February 23). Love those cute curls!
Mom Nicole Richie recently revealed that she is quite strict when it comes to Harlow and her little brother Sparrow‘s diet, saying that “sugar is obviously a big no-no.”
The former reality star added that her hubby “is not on the same page as me,” saying, “My kids don’t have dairy either, but Joel does take Harlow out and she comes back and I say, ‘How was your dinner?’ and she says, ‘Good, we had pizza!’”

Oh my goodness! Harlow is just so cute! She looks so much like Nicole did as a little girl.
Love the way Joel is looking at her in the last picture!

My goodness….she is beautiful!
wooow
She is absolutely a doll! One of the cutest babies on this site!
To be honest I don’t think Harlow is that cute. There more pretty toddler like Bluebell Ever Estella Dannilynn Charleston.
It’s not a contest.

I totally agree!
She is divine. Such a little doll.
shes adorbs
My goodness she’s cute. Such gorgeous curls, they frame her beautiful face so well!
She is beautiful!
I predict eating problems and food issues for these kids. The mother is already making a moral and health issue out of sugar and dairy, how Hollywood. As if she knows anything about nutrition or good life choices in general — didn’t she have an eating disorder herself? Or was she just too whacked out on drugs to eat?
How would eating a nutritious diet lend itself to eating problems later on? You’re surely not suggesting that they have a typical lousy diet, are you? And the everything in moderation mantra is self-defeating. How about feeding our kids an optimum diet? Shouldn’t that be our goal? Removing sugar is a good step in that direction. Also, people sometimes learn from their mistakes. Perhaps, if Nicole DID have an eating disorder, she has learned what NOT to do, and is teaching her kids what a proper diet is. We can’t know, but it’s possible, so I’m not going to assume and judge her negatively.
What a sweet girl! I love Harlow so much
she looks so tired
I’m sure Harlow gets sweet treats in the form of fruits that are nutritious and healthy. She’s just not giving them high fat, high sugar refined calorie empty junk. More mothers should do that so their kids don’t end up fatties.
the no sugar thing is good, but dairy is important for growing kids. cutting out dairy is probably worse than cutting out meat.
