Sandra Bullock: Motherhood "Made Me A Better Person"

A lot has happened since Sandra Bullock took home the Oscar for Best Actress at last year's Academy Awards. And after a highly publicized divorce from ex Jesse James, Bullock credits her son, 1-year-old Louis, with helping her get through it all.

"It made me a better person," Sandra told ABC's Maria Menounos at last night's (February 27) ceremonies. "I really appreciate where I am."

Now, after some much deserved time off, America's sweetheart is ready to get back to doing what she does best. But she admits that motherhood has definitely made an impact on her work habits.

"I just did my first day of work in a year and a half on Friday," said Sandra. "I'm more patient and accomodating. All I want to do is get home to him"

So when will we see Sandy on the big screen again? Soon! She's currently in New York City filming Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks.
