It was a busy day out for movie star mama Jennifer Garner and her 5-year-old daughter Violet (April 9).
The pretty pair, who were without dad Ben Affleck and little sister Seraphina, were spotted running some errands at the Brentwood Country Mart - including a visit to The Pump Station & Nurtury baby shop. After one last stop at New Balance to shop for some new shoes, they capped off the day with coffee for mom and ice cream for Vi.
Jennifer has also been hard at work promoting her new film Arthur, which co-stars Helen Mirren and Russell Brand.

I think it's admirable that despite the constant pap presence and stalking (which would p*ss most people off), JG continues on about her business and strives to keep things "normal" for her kids. Although she has nannies, she is usually with her kids by herself and enjoys getting out and doing everyday things with them.
So true. Violet looks more like her mother every day!

Jen is amazing. she doesn't wear these weird designer clothes, she doesn't have a ton of purses, she just looks like the average everyday mom. but the fact that she's rich and famous makes her that much more special! she's really humble for someone in the spotlight.
jennifer is a good mother
She dresses up and looks the part for work, but when she's with her children, it's all about them - not what shade of lipstick she is wearing or whether or not she's wearing the latest style.
