Sherri Shepherd's Best Little Man

View co-host and actress Sherri Shepherd is busy planning her wedding to TV writer Lamar "Sal" Sally, but it's not guest lists and gowns that the 30 Rock star is stressing over. Instead, she's more concerned about getting her 5-year-old son, Jeffrey, down the aisle.

"I'm just teaching him how to walk down slowly, instead of running, and I'm just going to ask him, please don't say, 'Mommy, I gotta pee.' Can you just hold it for 45 minutes?" Sherri tells People.

Jeffrey, who turns 6 this month, will be escorting his mother down the aisle when she and Sal say their "I do's."

One detail that needs to be ironed out before the big day...which of her two loves Sherri's going to be marrying!

"The other day he said to Sal, 'I want to be Mommy's husband. I want you to be the son. Mommy, I'm going to get you a ring,'" says Shepherd. "I was like, 'Unless you're bringing in a paycheck, that's not going to work for Mommy.'"

Sal proposed to Sherri, 43, on December 26 of 2010 -- after getting permission from Jeffrey. The couple, who will wed this August, has yet to finalize their honeymoon plans, but the Newlywed Game host says that they've narrowed the destinations down to Thailand, or somewhere in Europe.

This will be the second marriage for Sherri Shepherd, who filed for divorce from Jeffrey's father, comedian Jeff Tarpley, in 2006.
