Gary Busey's Son Hospitalized

It's been a tough week for Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Busey!

The actor was fired from Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday night. But it turns out that is the least of his worries as his 1-year-old son Luke is currently being hospitalized in Los Angeles, RadarOnline reports.

The actor's publicist says that Luke is being treated for “childhood illnesses” and is expected to return home by the end of the week.

"Gary is very grateful to his fans for their love and support,” the rep says. “Steffanie and Gary thank everyone for their get well prayers for Luke."

Luke is the only child of Gary and his fiancée Steffanie Sampson. Gary, 66, also has a son, actor Jake Busey, 39, and a daughter, Alectra, 17, from previous relationships.
