All of the beautiful Kardashian women (plus Mason) are featured on the cover of this month’s issue of Redbook, adding onto the family’s long list of accomplishments: Their three reality shows currently on E!, the recent premiere of Khloe & Lamar, last month’s release of Kim’s debut single – there’s even a Kardashian iPhone app. After conquering all other media and the public’s seemingly insatiable fascination with the Kardashian clan, one has to wonder if the big screen is far behind? Celebrity Baby Scoop posed that question to Kim and Khloe at the party celebrating their Redbook cover.
“I don’t know. That’s a good idea but nothing’s in the works yet. But that’s a great idea!” Kim laughed. “I say never say never. I’ve learned to say ‘Never say never” about anything,” Khloe added coyly.
One family member who definitely won’t be making it to the big screen is Kourtney’s son Mason, 1. In the Redbook interview the doting mom talks about trying to keep her son out of the spotlight. “I definitely want to protect him. I actually don’t have him on camera anymore, starting with our New York show,” she says. “And I’m trying to keep him off camera for the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He might be playing on the floor in some footage or running around, but everyone knows not to shoot him. It was a hard decision, because being a mom is my life, so not having him on camera is cutting out the most important part of my life.”
While it’s easy to dismiss the family’s on-screen charisma and camaraderie as canned, the sisters are as gracious in person as they are on camera and the whole family seems to genuinely enjoy each others company. Mom Kris gave a heartfelt thank you everyone there, especially to all of her children whose affection for her was clearly evident. Obviously this is a family that’s only begun their ascent – we’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of them in the years ahead. I wouldn’t rule out ‘Kardashians: The Movie’ just yet.View Slideshow »»
