Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are proud new parents! The singer gave birth to their twins at 12:07 p.m. at a Los Angeles hospital on Saturday (April 30).
Mariah’s rep, who confirmed the births to The Associated Press, says the couple have not named the children yet.
Their baby girl was born first and weighed in at 5 pounds, 3 oz. and was 18 inches long. Their baby boy arrived at 5 pounds 6 oz and was 19 inches.
The rep also added that they listened to Carey’s “We Belong Together” after the children were born.

Congrats to the new parents… I know they are thrilled. Mariah did good, her babies are an awesome weight for twins. Carrying almost 11 pounds of baby had to be difficult in the end.

Obviously you didn’t read the article where it said the birth was not planned, two we don’t know how the babies were brought into the world, and three no one plans to give birth to their children on their anniversary.

of course they’ll release them yeah they have a few choices for each and have since they were first dating simillar to my parents with my Brothers name at least. they won’t do a nude shoot with the twins but a more subdued one

What no names? They had all this time to come up with them and still undecided. Geez! They spent way too much time taking photos of themselves to even stop for a second and think, “oh yea we need names!”

ever occured to you they might want to keep the names private for a few days to have a chance to bond before the press starts Clammoring for interviews/pictures guessing Angela Elizabeth Marie for their daughter and David Nicholas Robert for their son. it was actually 9 :07 am yesterday morning LA time not 12:07pm as it was confirmed at 2:15pm and LA is 3hrs behind the east coast so it was conifrmed at 11:15 am LA time they strike me more as to go for clasic names rather than trendy or outlandish ones all that matters is everyone is safe and healthy
