Maya Rudolph is getting closer and closer to her due date, when she and partner Paul Thomas Anderson will welcome their third child; and the SNL alum couldn’t be more thrilled about finally meeting the newest addition to her family.
“I’m excited,” Maya tells Access Hollywood. “The exciting part is not knowing who’s coming. You have to wait nine months for a surprise, but then it’s a good payoff because it really is a surprise.”
Though she’s had many sonograms, Rudolph, 38, says that she’s not counting on them to give her an idea of what the baby will look like; something she learned from her experience with daughters Pearl, 5, and Lucille, 18 months.
“The sonograms don’t help because you always try to see the baby’s face, and my babies usually do this in all their ultrasounds,” Maya laughed as she crossed her arms in front of her face.
The actress currently stars in the comedy Bridesmaids, which hits theaters May 13.
