Angelina Jolie: Having Kids Has Given Me Peace

Angelina Jolie is in Cannes promoting her new film Kung Fu Panda 2, and she brought along the whole family – Brad Pitt and kids Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The busy mom was asked how she attains inner peace, one of the themes of the movie.

“Especially for people that have children. You wake up and if they’re healthy, you know that that’s the most important thing, so you have first of all that peace,” she said. “They also come with a lot of chaos, but we’re all searching for it. It’s part of the human journey.”

“We all have moments of inner peace and we lose it and we look for it again. But really it’s in knowing the people you love are safe and healthy. That’s the best.”

While KFP2 is a sequel, Angelina says it appeals even more to her kids than the previous film. “We’re all big kids at heart…but in many ways I did it for them, and I was excited for them to see it,” she said. “The trick of a sequel is you have to make it better than the first one, which is hard to do especially when the first one is so successful, and I think we pulled it off.”

And how did her kids react to the adoption theme running through KFP2? “I brought my kids to see the movie and they loved it, they laughed through the whole thing,” Angelina enthused. “I wondered whether they would ask me questions about it, but because adoption and birth mothers and orphanage — these are happy words. They’re very used to these discussions and they just felt that much more proud that they’re a little more like Po. So it was lovely.”

Angelina, who voices the role of Tigress in the film, says Cannes is a family affair. “Yes, we’re all in France. Our whole family is in France and we’re very happy.,” she says. “They’re running around the hotel right now, playing games, and making a giant mess, I’m sure. They’re having a great time. They love it here. Cannes can be overwhelming, and it can be that you meet a lot of friendly faces and have a good laugh and you also get a chance to see some great films. It’s very nice.”

does she ever dress casual for these types of things? she looks great, but it would be nice to see her in some jeans and a cute shirt, maybe with her hair in a ponytail…….she doesnt seem very down-to-earth.

Ever wonder about all the free stuff you see on the web? It appears like everybody wants to give stuff away for nothing, nada, zilch. But are these items truly free of charge? If so, how can these companies afford to give away all of these coupons and samples? It’s truly all about you, the consumer. We live in a very competitive world marketplace place. The internet has upped the ante in terms of who could be seen and heard via all with the mass media. Now companies need to make lots of noise and this is one way that can do it. One of the best place on the web is called “123 Get Samples” and get your free stuffs

It’s one of the main things I like about her. She’s not a slave to fashion. She’s in appropiate gear for the occasion. It’s a nice summery frock; not overly fancy, nor too casual.
