Hilary Duff is all grown up, but don’t expect her to be sporting a baby bump anytime soon. The former Lizzie McGuire actress tells Access Hollywood that she may be married, but for now, she and hubby Mike Comrie are holding off on having kids.
“We talk about it. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I want to work a little bit more,” says Duff, 23.
“I’m tossing around the idea of making another record and obviously that wouldn’t be very good timing,” she adds. “We want it, we’re excited for it, but I think it can wait just a little longer.”
Already moving forward with a new, very adult role in the film Bloodworth, where she stars opposite Val Kilmer, Hilary says that her pro hockey husband is totally behind her decision to focus on her career.
“He’s supportive of me, he knows that I’m still young and if I want to work more, he’s totally supportive of that,” says Duff.
Hilary and Mike met in 2007 at a resort in Idaho. Comrie proposed to the Disney star in Hawaii last February, and the young couple was married in a private Santa Barbara ceremony in August of 2010.
