Angelina Jolie: The Kids Are "Making A Giant Mess" In Cannes

While in the South of France to promote their films – Kung Fu Panda 2 and The Tree of Life respectively, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt brought along the whole gang. “Yes, we’re all in France. Our whole family is in France, and we’re very happy,” Jolie, 35, said at a press conference on Wednesday. “They’re running around the hotel now, playing games and making a giant mess! I’m sure they’re having a great time. They love it here.”

While Angie and Brad’s six kids – Maddox, 8, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – are no strangers to world travel, the celeb mom admits that Cannes “can be overwhelming.”

When asked about Kung Fu Panda 2, Jolie said, “I think the messages are very strong.” The mom-of-six added, “I think it takes so much talent for the directors and writers to make a film that makes the kids giggle and laugh, and get all excited about all the action, and it’s 3D and it’s beautiful, and somehow, underneath it, they learn these pretty heavy life lessons and that’s something, that as a parent, you really want to be able to give your kids.”

Fortunately for them, the trip is not all work. The couple and their kids checked into the posh Hotel du Cap Eden Rock on May 11 for the festival. The family are enjoying their own private villa – complete with chef, pool and inflatable toys picked out especially for their kids. But mom and dad are also enjoying some alone time – dining at the swank eatery Tetou in the town of Golfe Juan on Saturday.

Looks like mom, dad and the kids ‘Cannes’ have it all!
