Debbie Reynolds, her daughter Carrie Fisher and her 18-year-old granddaughter Billie Lourd posed for a rare public family photo on Tuesday (June 7). The lovely ladies attended a reception for the legendary Singin’ in the Rain actress in Beverly Hills, Calif. last night.
Star Wars star Fisher is the daughter of Reynolds and iconic singer/entertainer Eddie Fisher. Billie is Fisher’s daughter with ex, casting agent Bryan Lourd.
Reynolds, 79, is auctioning off her awe-inspiring memorabilia collection after failing to find funding for a museum to house the lot. Over the past 50 years, the Two Weeks with Love actress has collected 3,500 items from films including Marilyn Monroe’s infamous Subway Dress from Seven Year Itch and Judy Garland’s original blue and white gingham test dress and ruby slippers from the first two weeks of filming The Wizard of Oz.
All items be sold as part of the Profiles in History auction in Beverly Hills on June 18.
“I’m heartbroken, The Unsinkable Molly Brown star said. “I don’t want to see the collection broken up. It should stay intact. It’s a real shame but that’s the way it’s going to be.”
The classic collection is available to the public at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.View Slideshow »»
