Guess what the newest trend is for the celebrity mom? No, it’s not a designer diaper bag or pricey stroller – it’s the lifestyle website, where advice on everything from child rearing to choosing drapes is dished out by your favorite actress, supermodel or reality star mom.
Gwyneth Paltrow started the trend last year with her popular website GOOP. Project Runway‘s Heidi Klum partnered with AOL to launch her venture in June, followed by Tori Spelling‘s ediTORIal that launched this month. Now comes word that former Real Housewives of New York city star Bethenny Frankel has started her own website based around her Skinny Girl line of products.
Touted as a healthy living website, Skinny Girl Daily features recipes and tips all related to living a healthy lifestyle. Not surprisingly, the reality star’s Skinny Girl line of supplements and cleanses are featured prominently and can be ordered directly from the site.
It appears that Bettheny already has a faithful customer base to tap for her website – she’s reportedly raked in an unbelievable $120 million for the sale of her Skinnygirl Margarita.
