This is turning out to be a great year for actor Peter Dinklage!
He’s already creating buzz as the snarky Lord Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s hit drama Game of Thrones, and now, a rep for Dinklage and wife Erica Schmidt has confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple is expecting their first child!
They certainly have a lot to celebrate!
Not only does news of the baby come close to Father’s Day, but Peter also has a birthday this weekend. He turns 42 on Saturday, June 11.
Dinklage and Schmidt, a theatre actress and director, have been married since 2005 when they eloped to Las Vegas.
Congratulations again to the happy couple, and Happy Birthday Peter!
