Jennie Finch Welcomes Baby No. 2: Diesel Dean

Congratulations are in order for Olympian Jennie Finch and hubby, Major League Baseball pitcher Casey Daigle!

The couple welcomed their second son, Diesel Dean Daigle, on Father's Day (Sunday, June 19), the couple's rep confirms with Celebrity Baby Scoop. Diesel "weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and measured 22 ¼ in long. Mama and baby are doing great. Jennie, Casey and Ace are enjoying getting to know Baby D," their rep said.

The proud mama added: “We are so completely grateful and beyond blessed. Casey and I are excited for our sweet, precious Baby D! Ace couldn’t be any more pumped to be a big brother.”

The Olympic mama — who won gold in Athens and silver in Beijing — recently talked to Celebrity Baby Scoop about welcoming another boy into the family.

We were super excited [when we found out it was another boy]. I could have definitely gone either way. You just hope and pray for a healthy baby. Our 4-year old was definitely all about wanting a boy and baby brother so when it was confirmed on the ultrasound, he said, "See I told you mom." He was pretty pumped. I love all the boy energy so I'm excited and Ace is at an age where he wants to be this great little helper. He's so excited to be part of taking care of his little brother. He was such an easy baby so I hope we will have the same smooth path with boy #2, but we'll see what happens."

The couple welcomed their first son, Ace, in May 2006.

Diesel D. Daigle is totally an athlete name! I predict in a couple decades we'll be hearing about him getting drafted by some MLB team.

Diesel Dean Daigle? Can you imagine that being spoken at a graduation? That name is just horrifying.

Diesel?? Like gasoline?

Diesel and Ace? The rest of us save names like this for our pets. A perfectly good name for a dog is not the same as a perfectly good name for a child.

that name just screams white trash.

I don't care that they decided on a unique name, but Diesel Daigle is horrific. I mean, really? It sounds like a disease of the groin or something.

Diesel has a better ring to it than "Regular" or "Unleaded".

Most ridiculous baby name ever. Sounds like a cartoon or Mother Goose character.
