Wearing a skintight black lace dress from the Lanvin Fall 2011 collection paired with a leather dominatrix hat, Katie Holmes shows off her sexy side on the August cover of Vogue Espana.
The 32-year-old actress has been spending time in Miami with hubby Tom Cruise and their 5-year-old daughter Suri. “From my point of view, Tom is doing an incredible job and he is a rock star,” the Dawson’s Creek alum said about Tom’s new film Rock of Ages. “I think the movie is going to be a huge hit.”
Katie also chatted about talking “everything through” with Suri so she’s “not missing anything.”
As parents you try every day, but it’s still all a mystery. You’re learning on the job. If your child is waking up from a nightmare, you just have to calm them down and figure out why. What if it is something really silly, like a light in the corner that you left on and it is making these images. Or it could be a little more complicated than that. You love that person so much that you don’t want to screw it up.”

She looks good in these photos, but they seem totally out of character, and therefore, pretty try-hard. I just can’t see her as a sexy, leather-clad dominatrix when she seems so wholesome and girl next door in real life…

That’s why it must’ve been so much fun for her! I think the whole point of these pictures was to show her in an out-of-the-ordinary way. If I was to do a photo shoot (yeah, right!), I’d go for something totally different than who I really am. I like these pictures of Katie (except the cover…)!
Besides, everyone thinks their hubby is a rock star!
