Arnold Schwarzenegger & Maria Shriver's Son In ICU

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's 13-year-old son Christopher is in serious condition in a California hospital following an accident in Malibu, PEOPLE reports.

"Christopher has been in ICU since Sunday," a source says. "Maria has not left his side and is sleeping at hospital."

Christopher was boogie boarding on Sunday and something went wrong. He suffered a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs. His mother was with him on the beach, says a source.

Schwarzenegger has been to the hospital as well.

Our thoughts are with the Shriver-Schwarzenegger family!

My thoughts are with you Maria and your son. My 24 year old son was in a surfing accident in Lacanu France and was in a coma in Medock
polyclinic for about 10 days. Thanks to his mate who dragged him up from below the water by his leg rope and the chopper on their beach who took him to hospital defribulating him several times on the way he lived. He was flown home to Australia and after 2months in hospital recovered. Best wishes.
