David Beckham: "It's Always Hard Leaving My Family"

David Beckham returned the field Wednesday (July 27), playing in the MLS All-Stars vs. Manchester United game at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. His team lost 4-0, but for Beckham, the hardest part of the day wasn't the defeat, but having to be away from his family; especially his two-week-old daughter, Harper Seven.

"We have been so lucky with her, and it was hard leaving them all the other day," David tells Us. "It's always hard leaving my family.

Having a two-week-old daughter and leaving her, and leaving the boys and Victoria, it was difficult. I can't wait to get back and to hold her and kiss her."

According to the doting dad, Harper is doing "absolutely fabulous" and is under the watchful eyes of her three big brothers - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6 - who love to hold their baby sister as much as David does.

"The boys won't put her down," says Beckham. "They won't leave her alone, so I hope they are like that in 20 years."
