Michael Rapaport and his kids need shoes, and they know where to find them.
The Prison Break actor and his sons Maceo Shane and Julian Ali were spotted as they made a trip to the Nike Town store in Los Angeles, Calif. on Monday (August 15).
Michael recently produced a documentary, Beats, Rhymes & Life: Travels of A Tribe Called Quest about one of hip-hops most revered groups. “If you’ve never heard of A Tribe Called Quest and you like music of any kind, one thing I can guarantee that you’ll take away is that the music of A Tribe Called Quest is for everybody,” he said in a recent interview.
He stressed that the film challenges stereotypes about rappers and their music. “These guys aren’t thugs, they don’t try to be thugs, don’t have thug crazy history. They’re just musicians from Queens who came up in nice families,” Michael said. “They’re vulnerable, passionate and flawed guys just like everybody else. That kind of honesty and humanity is what made their music so good and is what makes them so fascinating as documentary subjects.”View Slideshow »»
