Vera Farmiga & Family: New York Stroll

Vera Farmiga and husband Renn Hawkey were spotted as they took three-year-old son Fynn and daughter Gytta, 10-months, on a leisurely stroll around a New York neighborhood on Wednesday (August 17).

The Up In The Air actress recently talked to New York Magazine about regretting not being there for some key moments with her family. “I missed [Gytta] crawling," she laments. "She learned to crawl yesterday when I was on The View, telling the ladies what it was like to kiss George Clooney. So I’m having these Medea-Madonna pendulum swings."

Vera recently directed Higher Ground, that had its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, and she was able to make sure she saw her family during production. Son Fynn plays the part of the main character’s child, and Vera’s husband, Renn, is its musical director and one of its producers. Farmiga’s youngest sister, Taissa plays the protagonist as a teen. Not to leave anyone out, Farmiga’s mother and grandmother appear in the film as extras.
