Rod Stewart is a grandpa!
The rocker’s daughter, Kimberly Stewart, gave birth to a baby girl Sunday in Los Angeles Us Magazine is reporting. This is the first child for the actress and model – the baby’s father is Oscar-winner Benicio del Toro.
“Benicio is the father and very supportive,” confirmed a rep for the 21 Grams actor in April. “Although [he and Kimberly] are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”
The new bundle of joy – who has yet to be named – was 22 inches long and weighed 8 lbs 9 oz.
A source says that that Rod and his current wife, Penny Lancaster-Stewart, were at the hospital during Kimberly’s delivery as was Alana Collins, who is Kimberly’s mother and Rod’s first wife.

Why were you “hoping” it was a boy? How is the gender of a baby of people you don’t know relevant to you?
BDT is not the hottest looking guy (IMO) if KS had a boy it wouldn’t matter if he was cute or not…
