He’s only two months old, but already, baby Cree is proving to be quite the handful for new parents Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict. And an adorable handful at that! But as the proud parents have found, working as a team makes all the difference.
In the latest issue of Us Weekly, the couple shares all of their son’s exciting milestones, letting us in on how they each bond with their little boy in their own special way, and Tia’s twin sister, Tamera‘s “auntie and me” time.
Born on June 28th weighing 8 lbs., Cree Hardrict is growing up fast!
“He’s smiling, laughing and trying to talk,” Mowry, 33, tells Us. And despite the usual sleep deprivation and 24/7 diaper duty involved with having a newborn, the Sister, Sister alum is loving every minute of being a first-time mother.
“At night, [Cree] takes a bath with me, and we bond,” shares Tia. “But I also love it when Cory sings to him. He makes up his own songs.”
“It’s teamwork!” adds Hardrict.
Part of that team is Tia’s twin sister, Tamera, who has been eager to get some quality time with her nephew; perhaps a little too eager.
“I’ll be breastfeeding, and she will take him from me!” Mowry says, laughing. “She has ‘auntie and me’ time when she sits in the glider and puts him to sleep.”
